I borrowed My Best Friend's Stepfather (audio book) from the library and then saw here on Amazon on the author's page that there's a book 2 and 3. I was interested in seeing how the story ended so I purchased book 3 and it turns out, book 3 is the last part of the first book I borrowed from the library. Basically, I just got ripped off for $2.99 plus tax for a book I already read for free. Opal Carew, this is a very dishonest and sneaky way to get someone to give you their money. I will never pay for or borrow anything written by you again.The writing is average. The story was ok. It's typical smutty writing. If that's what you feel like reading, this will due however, I listened to the audio book and I would absolutely NOT recommend you listen to the audio version. The narrator, Julia Duvall is hands down the worst narrator I'v ever had the displeasure of listening to. Her narration with the explicit content of this book is a horrid auditory disaster. Her voice when speaking in a male tone (which was frequent throughout the book) was 100% repulsive. I wish I could attach sound bites to this review as examples because it was a jarring, GROSS experience listening to that woman's voice. Ugh, yuck! There's a lot of other books out there with the same content that flow better and are written more eloquently and intelligently. I'd say skip this one if you're on the fence about reading it.

3.8 I got an ARC of this book for an honest opinion. I did enjoy this book though going in I didn't realize it was going to be M/F/M - M/M I don't usually read stories like this as I have trouble seeing someone share the person they love. I detest cheating which is what Ash was doing to Adam, before they started there threesome relationship.The fact that the author made it feel real that they all loved each other helped. I have to say it kind of turns me off when they do anal sex without condoms., and then switching up. And the fact that Dare said the child was not his without a DNA test if Helen really did sleep with him. I reread that part 3 times and at no point did I see where she told him they didn't sleep together or that it wasn't his baby. So for him to say it's not his was confusing. And for them to adopt it if it wasn't so that psychopath Helen wold be around all the time. Uh..no. This story had a lot going on for it to only be 49 pages. I wouldn't by it for a friend or myself as the price is more than it should be for the length.

So I can honestly say I didn't see that coming.
I mean I did when I started the 3rd book but not when I started the first book. I think that was a fair ending for a relationship that was complicated.
While I didn't like the ending, and not the surprise, but the other thing which you'll have to read it to form your own opinion. I can't even take off stars because I loved Dare and Adam.
Ashley got on my nerves, but ultimately she tried to the right thing throughout the series.
I also like Opal's writing style minus the word suckle. I took breastfeeding classes and that word will always be associated with feeding a baby.
All in all, I loved the first book, Liked the second, and a bit surprised by the 3rd.
It's sexy no doubt. Some books I read for romance, some I read for the thrill, and others I read for the sex.
I would read this for the sex. Just saying.
Warning...this review contains spoilers and if you have not read the other two, or if you haven't read this one yet, you may want to hold off on my review.
So, this is the final installment in this serial read and the steamy quotient is amped up when we get Adam and Dare's history. For those opposed to MM or MFM, just stop now, this book is not for you. While it isn't my cup of tea, I haven't been opposed or allowed it to affect my enjoyment of the book, Three, Two, One by JA Huss being a great example.
This one, however, I had a problem with. Simply put, I would have no interest being involved with someone and their past lover. Being involved with both of them singly was a little out there as it was, but I can understand Ashley's dilemma. I don't think I would be comfortable if I questioned where their feelings for me stood in comparison to the other. In particular, with Adam, it is like she was his fall back. I can't have what I want so I will be with you.
Honestly, I could have gotten passed this issue, especially since the characters are not really developed so I really don't know how Ashley should react. My major issue is the craziness that is Helen and the resolution the trio comes up with in addressing it. OMG...did I just read that. Is Ashley that crazy that she is willing to put up with that, and after what we learn about Helen, you expect me to believe she is okay with everything, no way.
The book abruptly ends shortly after the craziness so we don't get any great resolution or explanation as to how things work out. Maybe I'm wrong and there will be more installments to follow, though I doubt it. I'm just really bummed because I had been loving this serial up until this last book.

Loved it, another great story, with a surprising but very hot ending. Every girls fantasy at least it is for me. ;)
It was a long three weeks waiting for this final chapter in these characters lives. It kicked ass, what a great series. Thanks for this amazing ride.
